Inflation was at the fore of the economic scene during the second quarter of 2019. The attention was mainly concentrated on this variable. In effect, this period started with an increase of 3,4% which represented an inter-annual growth of 55% (the highest in 27 years). Nevertheless, the first data released in May and June, point to a slight downward shift, with monthly inflation rates around 3%.
It is expected that 115,000 square meters will be added this year. Furthermore, it is forecasted that almost 400,000 square meters will have been added by 2021, an amount equivalent to 25% of the current corporate stock of Buenos Aires.
